Ask An Expert: Your Hair-Raising Qs Answered!

Albert Nico Answers Your Hair-Raising Questions

The first maestro to grace myeppo’s Ask An Expert column was none other than celebrity hairstylist Albert Nico. As L’Oreal Professionel’s long serving Artistic Ambassador, he is well-versed with anything hair-related. We asked our readers to submit their queries, and these are the topics Albert chose to tackle….

Q: My hair fringe is constantly oily throughout the day. Is there any way to prevent that from happening?

A: Fringe gets oily if your hair touches your forehead often. It is a common issue, especially in our hot and humid weather. A tip we can recommend is to not apply conditioner above the ear level. And when you are on the go, you can use L’Oreal Professionnel Morning After Dust to keep your fringe fresh and dry.

Q: I am a man in my early 30s and my hair is already thinning. I now have a small bald patch! What can I do?

A: Hair fall is the no.1 issue faced by consumers due to many reasons like stress, food intake and lifestyle. Before using any tonic, we would recommend that you visit any L’Oreal Professionnel salon for a Serioxyl Scalp Cleansing and continue a home ritual of Serioxyl Anti-Hairfall shampoo, Serioxyl Conditioner (can be used on the scalp!) and Serioxyl Denser Hair.

Q: How does one maintain curls after bleaching?

Please request for a Smartbond treatment at any L’Oreal Professionnel salon during and after your colour and curl service. Then follow-up with a L’Oreal Professionnel Curl range shampoo.
