After winning the “Asian Star Award” at the Asian Model Awards in 2019, Jung walked for numerous global fashion brands. Her acting debut was as Sae-byeok in Squid Game; released in September, it is now one of the most viewed shows in the history of the streaming site.

Thanks to her breakout, Jung became the most-followed South Korean actress on Instagram in 2021, surpassing actresses Lee Sung-kyung and Song Hye-kyo. As of October, she has 22 million followers on the platform. She is also besties with singer Jennie, who visited the Squid Game set and sent a food truck to show her support. With Halloween around the corner, you may consider dressing up as Sae-byeok. Well, you can’t just throw on a green tracksuit and call it a day. Our advice is to go all out and nail Sae-byeok’s makeup, too!

Whether you’re dressing up as Sae-byeok for Halloween, or simply want to try out faux freckles, we have you covered. Our product recommendations come from popular Korean brand Holika Holika, available on myeppo’s shopping platform.

These items will help you achieve Sae-byeok’s look (or a more general sun-kissed one) in minutes. It gives you quick, realistic-looking freckles that won’t budge, and they’re so easy to apply.

Holika Holika Piece Matching Shadow

To build your faux freckles, all you need to do is tap the product across your face to the extent that you like. For a subtle look like Sae-byeok’s, add a few across your nose and the top of your cheeks. This matte eye shadow from Holika Holika Piece Matching Shadow will do just the trick.

Holika Holika Magic Pole Eyeliner

For a more noticeable change, brush it around these areas more prominently. This Holika Holika Magic Pole Eyeliner creates cute faux freckles that blend with your makeup and skin, instead of sitting on top and looking a little too obvious.

Holika Holika Mellow GLiding Pencil Liner

Simply apply a few haphazard dots to your fingertip, then tap your finger across the face in different areas (and repeat as necessary). They will look like natural freckles but without the sun exposure. To create the ideal smudge, you can try Holika Holika Mellow Gliding Pencil Liner.
