Hence, her decision to return to her first love, which is singing. “I took a hiatus from the music industry for four to five years to focus on acting. Back then, music was very manufactured for radio and I had a hard time finding my place in the music scene. Now, with Universal Music Malaysia, I am finally doing it in the most proper way.”

What are the brands you used for Diana’s makeup?
I mixed products to achieve the right looks for Diana. I prepped her skin with Laura Mercier Primer and sprayed MAC Prep + Prime (Gold Mist) on her face, followed by a few pumps of Dior Forever 24H High Performance Skin-Caring Foundation and top up with a slight touch of Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I also used very soft contouring from Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit Palette, eye colours and blusher from Nars and a very fine graphic eyeliner using Shu Uemura liquid pencil. Her eyebrows and eyelashes were enhanced using Shiseido’s product. The look was finished by spraying all over her face using Aloe Revital Skin Mist from Innisfree.
Is Diana suitable for light or heavy makeup?
As an actor, she is suitable with any kind of makeup as she can project the style that is chosen for her. My personal opinion is she is beautiful with the nude no-makeup look. She has a natural effortless vibe, a less is more kind of makeup girl.
What are the primary colours you used for the eyes and lips?
Very soft palette, such as pastel and earth tones and glossy nude lips for the first look. For the second look, I added on false lashes at the outer edge of her eyes and painted her lips in matte deep red for a classic feel.
Besides Diana, who are the other celebrities you’ve worked with?
Ning Baizura, Anuar Zain, Amy Search, Kayda, Cheryl Samad, Jaclyn Victor, Jasmine Suraya, Elizabeth Tan, Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori, Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
