Burberry has revealed the new Her campaign starring Fran Summers photographed by Mario Sorrenti – celebrating modern free-spirited fragrances for women.
In her fifth campaign for Burberry under Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, the series of images celebrates the energy, confidence, and effortless individuality at the heart of the fragrance.
Blending the notions of dream and reality, Fran transforms into a white bird while exploring a deserted dawn cityscape as it awakes. Here she reveals her thoughts….
Q: You are the new face of the new Her fragrance campaign under Riccardo Tisci’s creative direction. How was it to work with him?
A: I’ve always loved Burberry as a brand and what it represents, and the heritage. To be able to work with my idols and some of the most amazing creative people in the industry has been an amazing experience for me. Burberry as a brand has strength and promotes individuality, and I love being a part of the Burberry family.
Q: What is your favourite thing about being British?
A: Our irreverence, loyalty and individuality.
Q: What makes you free / what makes you feel free-spirited?
A: Being an independent woman, and having room to be myself.
