The Hitchhiker’s Guide To Men’s Skincare: Part 4

For a combination skin type like me, it is best to use cleansers that are gentle and non exfoliating for every wash. Having done some research, I opted for Jack Black’s Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser because the ingredients used in this cleanser consist of Oat and Coconut, Organic Sage Leaf Extract, Chamomile Extract, Rosemary Extract, Witch Hazel, and Organic Aloe Leaf Extract. If I were to sum it up, they are best for dry and combination skin type.

One extra plus point for me in this cleanser is that it is also a 2-in-1 cleanser and toner. It is useful for someone like me who has never given a hoot about skin care, and is still struggling to spend more time taking care of my skin.

I started using Jack Black’s Pure Clean cleanser at least twice a day.  The effect was almost immediate given the fact that I had been using a soap bar and oil stripping cleanser bought from a supermarket. First of all, it gives me a refreshing feeling after every wash.

But most importantly, while it gets rid of oiliness, it doesn’t cause dryness. I also use it after work before my gym workout, it really helps to make me feel clean and rejuvenated. It has been almost two weeks since I started using this cleanser, and I am glad I have found a wonderful product to start my skin care routine. I will continue to explore other brands to share with other working middle-aged men. For now, for cleanser, I would definitely recommend Jack Black Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser.
