Steal Her Look: Charlize Theron on the F9 Red Carpet

For her big night out to promote the latest Fast & Furious sequel, Hollywood beauty Charlize Theron turned to Dior Beauty for her makeup.

To recreate Charlize’s beauty look, Dior recommends using Capture Totale Super Potent Rich Creme and the new Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum to prep and hydrate the skin.

For the base, Forever Skin Glow #2.5N and Forever Skin Correct #2N was applied. Then the Backstage Powder-No-Powder #2N was used along the T-zone to create a luminous matte finish. 

Next, the Backstage Contour Palette was used to add depth and warmth. For blush, the Dior Rouge Blush #459 Charnelle was applied for a stunning warm glow.

For the eyes, the Dior 5 Couleurs Couture #649 Nude Dress and the Diorshow 24h Stylo #781 Matte Brown were used along the top and bottom lash line to create dimension. Next, the top lashes were coated with the Diorshow Iconic Overcurl #090 Black.

Lastly, the Rouge Dior #766 Rose Harpers was applied for a stunning pink statement lip, completing Charlize’s glamorous look.

In the latest Fast & Furious sequel titled F9, Charlize’s cyberterrorist character Cipher now sports a chic bowl hair style. The Oscar-winning thespian is a popular presence on Instagram (@charlizeafrica), with over 6.5 million followers.

Ageing is part of the process

In an interview with Instyle, she said: “There are days when I really love my face and I have no problem with the wrinkles around my mouth or eyes. Then, there are days when I say to: ‘Oh my God, maybe it’s time to have a facial’. And that’s okay. 

“That doesn’t mean I don’t want to grow old. The more we understand that this is normal and part of the process, the more we will relieve the pressure.”

Sunscreen is a must

Charlize always wakes up “too early” to help prepare her two children for school. “When I wake up, I wash my face and put on sunscreen and lip balm.”

… and so is moisturiser

“I use serum, eye cream and a very good moisturiser,” explained Charlize of her beauty routine. Although she said she will try new things, she always likes to go back to the ‘classics’, like Crème de la Mer.

You are what you eat

Skin care starts from the inside out, which is why Theron focuses on her diet. In past interviews, she has declared her love for “raw plant-based foods”.

Night routine is important

Mornings are hectic at home, which is why the actress spends most of her time skincare at bedtime. “I really learned to take care of my skin at night, so mornings are usually just a warm towel, brushing my teeth and putting on sunscreen.”
